Refund Policy

Last Updated: March 17, 2026

1. General Policy

All payments on Al-Diwan are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Listing fees and extension fees are non-refundable once your property listing is published and active on the platform.

Important: Refunds are NOT available for change of mind, property sold or rented before expiration, or user errors in listing details once the listing is published and active.

2. Listing Duration

Your paid listing duration is measured in active days only — days during which your listing is published and visible to users. If your listing is temporarily unpublished due to an administrative action, those days are paused and not counted against your paid duration.

3. When a Refund May Be Issued

A refund may only be issued in the following circumstances:

  • A verified technical failure on Al-Diwan's part prevented your listing from being published
  • You were charged more than once for the same listing (duplicate charge)
  • Required by applicable app store policies or consumer protection laws

4. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted directly through the app store where you made your purchase:

  • Apple App Store: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google Play Store: Open Google Play → Account → Order History → select your order → Request a refund

Al-Diwan does not process refunds directly. For service-related issues, contact us at [email protected].

5. Consequence of Store-Granted Refund

The listing fee is the consideration for the listing service. If a refund is granted for any reason — including by unilateral app store decision — the associated listing will be unpublished or removed effective from the date the refund is processed.

Important: If you receive a refund through the app store, your property listing will be unpublished or removed regardless of how much time remained. This applies to both creation and extension purchases.

Obtaining a store refund while retaining the benefit of a live, active listing constitutes unjust enrichment and a material breach of our Terms of Service (Section 5.5).

6. Extension Refunds

If a refund is granted for an extension purchase, the extended days will be removed from your listing's expiration date. If the resulting expiration date has already passed, your listing will be automatically deleted along with all its images. The listing will be preserved only if it still has remaining paid time from other purchases.
